PLOT SUMMARY:



Based on the popular manga and original 1997 anime series, the Berserk trilogy of films focus on the Golden Age arc that tells the story of how Guts becomes the Black Swordsman. The arc primarily focuses on Guts relationship to Griffith and Casca, members of the Band of the Hawk. Griffith has plans to become king, and after losing to him in battle, Guts must now serve under Griffith's orders.
